Overview
Our one day training course is for people who have minimal or no confined space operating experience.
It is an intensive, hands-on training course. A strong theoretical component also focuses on safe operating procedures.
To complete the refresher course you must supply a copy of your old competency.
You will gain an understanding of these four critical aspects to becoming a successful and safe operator in a confined space.
1. Plan and prepare for working in confined space
2. Work in a confined space
3. Exit confined space
4. Clean up
Course Outline
Learning outcomes:
On successful completion of the program you will receive a Statement of Attainment for RIIWHS202D Enter and work in confined spaces.
This program is nationally recognised.
Pre-requisites
Participants must provide identification.
Sound verbal and written comprehension of the English language is mandatory.
Resources Required
Appropriate clothing (No opened toed shoes).
All other resources supplied.
