Overview
This course is for those who are confident in their skills and only want to complete the assessment. It is recommended that students complete the online pre-work module and assessment. (Previously known as Senior First Aid, Workplace Level 2 and Apply First Aid)
Learning outcomes:
On successful completion of the course you will be issued a Certificate which is a statement of attainment in:
HLTAID001 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation
HLTAID002 Provide basic emergency life support
HLTAID003 Provide first aid
St John recommends, as per the First Aid in the Workplace Code of Practice and the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines, that first aid skills are renewed every three years and resuscitation skills are renewed (HLTAID001/HLTAID007 ) every 12 months.
