Key information for this course

Overview

This course provides participants with the skills to manage the danger of accidental electrocution. It is primarily designed for electricians. After successful completion of the course you sill be competent to rescue and provide resuscitation to a person who has stopped breathing or is unconscious due to a low voltage electrical shock.

Learning outcomes:

On successful completion of this course you will be issued a certificate which is a statement of attainment in:
UETTDRRF06B Perform rescue from a live LV panel
HLTAID001 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation
St John recommends, as per the First Aid in the Workplace Code of Practice and the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines, that first aid skills are renewed every three years and resuscitation skills are renewed (HLTAID001/HLTAID007 ) every 12 months.
