Overview
Supervise how materials are selected, obtained and stored on site. Produce schedules of resource requirements, record and track costs. Gain knowledge of codes, regulations and approval processes, and assess skilled labour requirements.
On successful completion of this short course, you will be issued with a Statement of Attainment for the Nationally Recognised units:
CPCCBC4005A Produce labour and material schedules for ordering
CPCCBC4006B Select, procure and store construction materials for low rise projects
You can use this Statement of Attainment as credit towards gaining a range of nationally recognised qualifications including the following, which is offered by HIA:
CPC40110 Certificate IV in Building and Construction (Building)
CPC40208 Certificate IV in Building and Construction (Contract Administration)
CPC40508 Certificate IV in Building and Construction (Site Management)

Pre-requisites
To start this program, you must have:
a good understanding of English reading and writing; interpersonal and communication skills
the ability to research, access and interpret complex documents

Desirable:
At least basic computer skills in spreadsheets, search engines and word processing
